ISLAMABAD: IHC has rejected the request to stop the showcase of the animated movie by ‘Geo Films’, ‘The Donkey King’.
A citizen of Pakistan, Riffat Rehman initiated to challenge the propaganda behind the animated film. PEMRA, Information Ministry, Geo films and the Censorship board were party to the lawsuit in the petition.
Justice Amir Farooq heard the case today in the Islamabad High Court. Applicant has stated that the ‘Raja community’ has been degraded in the movie.
