Syrian government forces have recovered two villages from rebel fighters in northwestern Syria.
Rebel fighters had captured the villages of al-Jabin and Tel Melah in northern Hama province.
The Syrian army was continuing operations against terrorist organizations in the northern Hama and southern Idlib areas.
The pro-Damascus al-Watan newspaper reported the Syrian and Russian warplanes targeted militant positions.
More than 400 civilians have been killed in northwestern Syria and more than 440,000 displaced.
The conflict in Syria has continued for eight years.
