Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Ahmed Buzdar has directed to curb price hike in the province.
Usman Buzdar said the relevant officials will be held accountable if measures are not taken to provide relief to the people, adding, it is the government’s responsibility to provide relief to the masses.
He asked the officials to go out in the field and ensure the prices of commodities remain stable.
He said, strict action will be taken against the officials who do not take measure against the rising prices.
Punjab Chief Minister said, people responsible for creating an artificial inflation must be sent behind bars.
He said, for a clean and green Pakistan 500 million saplings will be planted in five years to overcome pollution issue.
He said, that tree plantation program will improve the environment and lower climatic changes threats.
