The United States Ambassador Alice Wells welcomed the move to remove travel and restrictions on diplomats from Islamabad and Washington.
She said, the U.S. and Pakistan are committed to a renewed effort to help the diplomatic missions work to strengthen ties between the two countries.
Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for South and Central Asian Affairs said, she is pleased to see the State Department announced that it removed travel restrictions placed on Pakistani diplomats based in the United States.
Pakistan government also removed ban on travel of U.S. diplomats.
The decision came after Alice Wells held talks with the civil and military leadership in Islamabad last week.
