At least 63 people were killed and 182 wounded in an explosion at a wedding in Kabul, Afghanistan.
The blast took place on Saturday with the highest death toll in recent months, said Interior Ministry spokesman Nasrat Rahimi.
The United States and the Taliban are negotiating for a deal to reduce the U.S. military presence in Afghanistan.
The Taliban and the U.S. are in the final stages of a deal.
The Taliban denied any involvement in the attack.
Insurgents often strike the Afghan forces, weddings, killing military personnel and civilians.
In the recent attack, women and children were also killed and wounded.
According to a report, a suicide bomber attacked the wedding.
The Islamic State group claimed responsibility.
The group said one of its fighters blew himself up at a large wedding gathering in Kabul and others detonated a parked explosives-laden vehicle at the arrival of the security forces.
