Zardari and Imran Khan should be ready for NAB, says Nawaz Sharif

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif appears for a court hearing in corruption charges against him.

Former Prime Minister and leader of Pakistan Muslim League (N) Nawaz Sharif has said he has gone through the accountability process and dealtwith the National Accountability Bureau (NAB) and now it’s time for Asif AliZardari and Imran Khan to face NAB.

He said false and unjustified cases were registered against him and his brother Shahbaz Sharif, adding, corruption could not be proved. He said they were subjected to torture over his family property. He said NAB should treat everyone equally without any soft corner for any party, demanding it is its responsibility to hold Imran Khan and Asif Ali Zardari accountable for their negative role and corruption.

He also said elections would be re-conducted soon, and they were ready for them as is being said by Imran Khan. He talked to the media briefly after his appearance before the NAB court the other day. He said his party would clean sweep in the elections as it’s the only popular party in the country.
