Hawa Aalam Noorstani has been elected a new head for Independent Election Commission in Afghanistan.
According to Afghan news agency, Hawa Aalam Noorstani got four votes in the voting process.
Before that she was a representative of Lower House of the Parliament, member of the Parliamentary Commission for Human Rights, and a member of Parliament Commission Information.
The opponent of Hawa Aalam Noorstani for the head of Independent Election Commission was Maulana Muhammed Abdulla.
He got only three votes.
Azmat Ulla Mal was elected vice head for Independent Election Commission.
Musafir Quqandi was elected chief of the secretariat.
Zahara Bayaan Shinwari was elected a new head for Independent Electoral Complaint Commission for Afghanistan.
She was elected in the voting process of the Commission.
