The International Monetary Fund head Christine Lagarde said the tensions between the United States and China are the threat for the world economy.

The economists warned about the impact of a trade war, calling on the two sides to avoid taking decisions that would undermine global growth in the months ahead and emphasized on the need for transparency and multilateralism.
They said, increasing tariffs is a negative decision.
The countries have been holding talks to resolve tensions.
