U.S. President Donald Trump has denied assaulting a columnist E. Jean Carroll in the dressing room of a clothing store more than 20 years ago.
Trump said that E. Jean Carroll lied when she said that he threw her up against a wall and forced himself on her in the mid-1990s.
He said he insisted that he did not know her.
E. Jean Carroll wrote for years for Elle magazine.
He said, he would not have assaulted her because she’s not his type and that he did not know her.
Carroll spoke about an excerpt from her new book What Do We Need Men For? Trump threw her up against a wall so hard and that she tried to fight back against Trump’s violent advances.
Trump said Carroll was making up the story “totally lying”, “I don’t know anything about her,” “I know nothing about this woman.”
He said, the women who accused him of taking advantage of them were not attractive enough to engage in such behavior and they were not his choice.
More than a dozen women have accused U.S. President Trump of sexual misconduct and assaults.
