A mass trial in Bahrain has been condemned by the United Nations, calling it unfair trial that did not meet the international standards.
The United Nations human rights chief Michelle Bachelet said revoking the nationality of 139 people was a cause for concern.
Around 139 people were jailed on terrorism charges and their citizenship revoked in the mass trial in the Gulf Arab state.
Michelle Bachelet said, there are serious concerns that the court proceedings failed to comply with the international fair trial standards.
The Human Rights chief said, a large number of the accused were tried in absentia.
