The United States President Donald Trump said, he could wipe Afghanistan off the face of the earth.
He said, he has plans on Afghanistan that if he wants to win that war, Afghanistan would be wiped off the face of the earth.
He said, it would be gone in literally 10 days and 10 million people would die but he does not want to kill 10m people.
Around 32,000 civilians have been killed in the war and more than 2,000 U.S. soldiers have died in Afghanistan.
He said, the U.S. hopes that in the coming days they will be able to urge the Taliban to speak to the Afghan government and come to a political solution.
The U.S. president was speaking in the Oval Office.
