Speaking at a function in Islamabad, Supreme Court Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar has said the judiciary has won the trust of the masses.
He said, the masses were provided relief as 80 per cent cases were disposed off.
He said, all steps taken by them were within the legal limits.
He said, the judiciary directed the executive as per law, adding, when the health department was not working properly the judiciary guided them.
The chief justice said, corruption cases and power abuse cases from the executive were solved by them and the executive was stopped by doing this again.
He said, police reformation was not introduced with the passage of time and before the AD Khawaja case no one focused on police reforms.
He said, a lot needs to be done for betterment in the justice system.
He said, he was sure that committee proposals would be given the legal form for police reformation.
