Syrian Air Defences thwart Israeli attack near Golan Heights border

Smoke following the explosions in Syria is seen from the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights.

Syrian Air Defences thwarted an Israeli attack on a control center in Tal al-Hara in southern Syria.

Israel targeted Syrian military installation near the Golan Heights border on Wednesday morning.

The country’s air defences shot down a number of missiles.

Tal al-Hara is considered a strategic hill overlooking the occupied Golan Heights.

Located in Daraa Governorate, Tal al-Hara is the base functions for President Bashar Assad’s regime as an early warning station against Israeli airstrikes.

The missile attack reportedly damaged the radar systems at the site.
