The children of murdered Saudi journalist Jamal Khashoggi said, no settlement was reached or compensation was made over the killing of their father.
They said, the trial is taking place.
Khashoggi’s elder son Salah said on Twitter, no settlement is being discussed.
Khashoggi wrote columns for The Washington Post.
The Washington Post reported his children were given million-dollar houses and monthly payments as compensation but it was not “blood money” that could be negotiated under Islamic justice system.
Family members could not be immediately reached for further comment.
Eleven suspects are on trial for the murder of the journalist.
The Central Investigation Agency (CIA) and some Western governments believe Saudi Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman was behind the murder.
The Saudi authorities deny he had any role in or knowledge of the killing.
