The UAE Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum met Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi in Beijing, China.
Both leaders discussed bilateral relations in political, economic and technological fields, and opportunities for economic development and public works.
Dubai Ruler H.H. Sheikh Mohammed is leading the UAE delegation to the second ‘Belt and Road Conference for International Cooperation’ taking place in the Chinese capital.
Sheikh Mohammed expressed the UAE’s appreciation for Egypt’s stand on the critical issues affecting the Middle Easter region and praised President el-Sisi for the development efforts in Egypt.
The regional and international developments and ways to overcome the current challenges facing the Arab world and finding solutions for stability and prosperity were also discussed in the meeting.
Commending the UAE’s role in supporting regional efforts to achieve security, stability and prosperity Egyptian President el-Sisi said, the UAE has become a model not only for the region but also for the entire world.
Minister for Economy Sultan Bin Saeed Al Mansouri, Cabinet Affairs and the Future Minister Mohammad Bin Abdullah Al Gergawi, Minister of State for International Cooperation Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemy, and others were also present.
