Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif’s personal physician has requested the Punjab government to provide round-the-clock cardiac care to the Pakistan Muslim League-N leader.
Dr Adnan Khan, who is also the chief executive of the Sharif Medical City, Lahore, wrote a letter to the Punjab additional chief secretary.
He stated in the letter, considering the serious medical condition of former prime minister, he should be provided round-the-clock cardiac care.
Sharif is serving a seven-year imprisonment at Kot Lakhpat jail.
The third special medical board had examined Sharif at the Services Hospital.
