Russian tennis player Anastasia Potapova, 18, said she was speechless over her victory on Sunday against Wimbledon champion Angelique Kerber in the first round of the French Open Grand Slam at Roland Garros, winning 6-4, 6-2.
She said, she was looking forward for this match and didn’t know what to say and what to do but she was happy at that moment.
The 2016 junior Wimbledon champion Potapova hammered 28 winners.
She said, “When you step in on the court you’ve just got to show your best. I was fighting for every point.”
