Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and the provincial ministers of his political party have revolted against their leader.
The members of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf had approved a bill for the increase in the salaries of Punjab Chief Minister, Speaker, Deputy Speaker and provincial ministers including all members of the Assembly.
It was sent to the Punjab Governor for approval.
However, expressing extreme anger over the bill the Prime Minister Imran Khan issued instructions to the Punjab Governor not to sign the bill.
According to Khouj news, the Punjab government ignoring the orders of their leader insisted they will not take the bill back.
The sources said, Punjab Assembly Speaker ChaudryPervaiz Elahi got Rs 25,000 deducted from his salary as a sacrifice.
The sources also said, some amendments have been made in the privileges and salary increments of Punjab chief minister and other ministers, adding, the purpose of these amendments is to announce revolt against Imran Khan.
