Proceedings against me are based on theories: Nawaz Sharif

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif said he never abused his powers, worked honestly and performed duties.

Former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has said proceedings against him are based on theories, however, he is leaving it to the court that justice would be done.

Talking to the media outside the Accountability Court in Islamabad, Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader, said he was Chief Minister of the Punjab twice, and Prime Minister of the country three times but never abused his powers, worked honestly and performed duties.

He said, not even a single penny corruption was proved against him, he never took any kickback and commission, and he was leaving today’s verdict to the court, adding, hopefully justice would be done.

The Accountability Court will announce judgement in Al Azizia and Flagship references against Nawaz Sharif on December 24.
