PM delays municipality elections on chief minister’s report

The municipality elections have been delayed in the Punjab for a year on the instructions of Prime Minister Imran Khan.

According to Khouj News sources, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar presented a report to the prime minister that it was not possible to hold municipality elections in the next two to three years.

Reacting to the report Prime Minister Imran Khan delayed the elections for a year.
