Pakistan stands isolated, it would be a mistake to believe it will mend its ways: Narendra Modi

The Indian prime minister also said they never opposed dialogue but in the noise of bombs and guns, dialogue cannot be heard.

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has said, they are working out various strategies to check terrorism but it will be a mistake to believe Pakistan will mend its ways.

In an interview, he said, efforts are being made to keep pressure on Pakistan.

He said, whether it is surgical strikes or action at other levels, India has created an environment that Pakistan stands isolated in the world as it’s involved in supporting and promoting terror in other countries.

The Indian prime minister also said they never opposed dialogue and are ready to talk on all issues, adding, amid the noise of bombs and guns, the dialogue cannot be heard.

He said, they want good friendly relations with Pakistan but their argument is strong.

We want friendly relations with neighbours and for this cross-border terrorism must end, he added.

I try that India’s voice reaches the world, Modi said.
