The U.S. military Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark A. Milley had said the same about Pakistan on his nomination to be the next Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff. Donald Trump endorsed what was said by Milley.

It is pertinent to mention the U.S. President has held Pakistan establishment responsible for the religious extremism in South Asia. He also asked Prime Minister Imran Khan in a letter to cooperate on the issue of Afghanistan.
