The Saudi Human Rights Commission Chief Bandar Al-Aiban has said that there were no secret detention centers in Saudi Arabia.
On the United Nations recommendations on human rights, he said, Riyadh was in the process of studying them but some of them contradicted Saudi regulations.
He said, detention centers violated laws and human rights.
He told the United Nations Human Rights Council in Geneva that the Kingdom has taken all necessary measures in the case of journalist Jamal Khashoggi who was murdered in Turkey.
Rejecting internationalization of the Khashoggi case, he said, any such attempt would undermine Saudi sovereignty and is considered as interference in its internal affairs.
