It was earlier reported that Imran Khan will visit Russia on the invitation of Russian President Vladimir Putin.
But the Russian government has shamed Imran Khan.
According to Khouj News sources, Russia refuted the news that it invited Imran Khan for a visit.
Foreign Office spokesperson Dr Faisal also said that Russia did not invite Imran Khan.
It was reported Vladimir Putin had invited PM Imran Khan to the Eastern Economic Forum (EEF), an economic conference to be held in September in Russian city Vladivostok.
Pakistan and Russia remain in contact and Pakistan held joint military drills with Russia.
Prime minister Imran Khan met President Putin on the sidelines of Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) summit meeting last month.
The prime minister will visit the U.S. on July 22 and meet President Donald Trump.
