Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Acting Ameer Liaqat Baloch has said the National Accountably Bureau (NAB) chairman is being blackmailed and a judicial commission should be set up to investigate the matter.
He was addressing the central advisory body of the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) at Mansoora.
He said, a TV channel owned by the PM’s advisor leveled allegations against the NAB chairman and that accountability should be impartial and everyone involved in financial corruption must be held accountable and investigated.
He said, common people are being affected because of the government’s policies and the rise in electricity, gas and edible prices had created difficulties for people who are being burdened with new taxes.
He said, the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) would start a protest march against price hike and unemployment on June 16.
