Military courts not needed, Opposition united in national interest: Shahid Khaqan Abbasi

Pakistan Muslim League (N) Former Prime Minister Shahid Khaqan Abbasi talking to the media in Gujar Khan opposed the expansion of military courts, saying, military courts are not needed in Pakistan.  

He said they are not in favour of giving expansion to the military courts, adding, the opposition united not because of the corruption cases but in the national interest.

He said, the inefficient government has destroyed the country.

Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader expressing grief and sorrow over the killing of people in the firing of CTD said, the Sahiwal incident is condemnable and saddening.

He said, the responsible will be brought to justice after investigation.

It needs to mention here, before Pakistan Muslim League (N), Pakistan People’s Party and other political parties opposed the military courts.

Pakistan People’s Party leaders said, terror incidents have decreased in the country, and now there was no need for military courts.

They said, they will not favour the military courts and there will not be any compromise on the 18th amendment.
