Maulana Tariq Jameel hospitalised in Johar Town after heart attack

The religious scholar promotes peace, tolerance and sectarian harmony in society in his sermons.

Religious scholar Maulan Tariq Jameel had an heart attack on Tuesday and was shifted to a private hospital in Johar Town, Lahore.

He is being provided medical care at the hospital.

According to hospital sources, the condition of the religious scholar is stable now.  The doctors have recommended an Angiography for Maulan Tariq Jameel.

He had returned to Pakistan from Canada the previous night.   

He always promoted peace, tolerance and sectarian harmony in society and urged people to respect the religious beliefs of others.
