Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (F) leader Maulana Fazal-ur-Rehman has announced to launch a movement against the decision to bring the Madrassas (religious schools) under the Education Ministry.
He said, they never opposed reforms and latest education in Madrasaas but Madrassas cannot be brought under the NGOs and other government departments on the orders of the West.
He said, they want to take the Madrassas in their control and will make them just like the government educational institutions.
He said, they also want to make changes in the syllabus to separate the students from “Deen” (religion) and Fiqah (jurisprudence).
He said, they will resist against these steps of the state and that keeping the Madrassas safe is their first priority.
