Jamat Islami Ameer to be elected, three names announced by Majlis-e-Shura

The ballot papers would be issued to the members of Jamat Islami for the election of the Ameer.

The Majlis-e-Shura, Consultative Council, of the Jamat Islami has announced names for the Ameer.

According to Information Secretary of Jamat Islami, Qaiser Sharif, the consultative council has suggested the names in secret advice.

They said, Siraj-ul-Haq, Liaqat Baloch, and Prof Muhammed Ibrahim have been suggested for the Ameer.

However, members of Jamat Islami can vote for someone they consider is more suitable for the position.

Qaiser Sharif said, the department of election commission is selected by the consultative council and its president is Asad Alla Bhutto.

He said ballot papers would be issued to the members of Jamat Islami for the election of the Ameer.

It is pertinent to mention Senator Siraj-ul-Haq is the Ameer of Jamat Islami who belongs to upper Dir in Khayber Pakhtunkhawa.
