India will take strong action along the border to stop terror attacks: Gen. Bipin Rawat

Indian General Bipin Rawat said terror groups were operative in Jammu and Kashmir and launching attacks with the support provided by Pakistan military.

The Indian Army chief General Bipin Rawat has said India will not hesitate to take strong action along the border with Pakistan.

He was addressing army personnel on the Army Day on January 15.

He said Pakistan is providing support to terror groups and the Indian military will deal with them effectively to stop all terror activities, cross border infiltration and attacks on the Indian army.

He said terror groups were operative in Jammu and Kashmir and launching attacks with the support provided by Pakistan military.

He also said new guidelines are being followed to maintain peace and tranquillity along the border in the eastern sector.
