Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan said, Prime Minister Imran Khan considered the media his strength and those supporting Imran Khan were supporting Pakistan.
Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, Special Assistant to the PM on Information and Broadcasting, said, the media should support him in his efforts to steer the country out of the many crises it’s facing.
She said, Imran Khan believed in the supremacy of the Constitution, parliament, other state institutions and democratic manners and committed to provide due rights to the workers.
She said, the government’s decision to fix minimum wage of Rs 17,500 was a proof.
She said, people voted for the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) to free themselves from Nawaz and Zardari families.
Special Assistant to PM on Information and Broadcasting said, the amendments proposed by the Opposition for the benefit of people would be incorporated in the budget.
She was addressing a press conference to announce the interim Wage Board Award for the newspaper workers.
