Four people were killed in two explosions at a celebration in a stadium in Lashkar Gah, Afghanistan.
At least 31 people were injured.
The explosions occurred on the Farmers Day celebration in the southern city that was attended by nearly 1,000 people.
Helmand province governor Mohammad Yasin Khan also sustained injuries in the planted explosives.
A witness said the gunfire came from security personnel, adding, bursts of gunfire could be heard causing people to flee the stadium.
