Harry, Meghan’s young royal set to be christened at St George’s Chapel

Prince Harry and former American actress Meghan Markle’s son, the young royal Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor, is set to be christened at St George’s Chapel in Windsor next month.

Harry was baptised in 1984 at St George and both, Harry and Meghan, staged a glittering wedding last summer at the same place on May 19 last year.

Prince Charles and the Duchess of Cornwall are likely to lead the royal party to welcome young Archie born on May 6 into his faith at St George’s Chapel.

The christening looks set to be a traditional affair.

The ceremonies will be conducted by the Dean of Windsor, the Reverend David Conner, and the Archbishop of Canterbury Justin Welby.

Old friends and couples and celebrity pals like Amal Clooney and Elton John could be in the running to be godparents.
