The condition of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has worsened in Kot Lakhpat jail in Lahore, sources said.
He was found guilty in the Al Azizia Steel Mills case and sentenced to seven years in prison on Dec. 24, 2018.
His personal physician is not being allowed to meet him, sources said.
The former premier is suffering from high fever and body aches.
He already has cardiac issues and had an open heart surgery three years ago.
There are also rumors about the former prime minister and Pakistan Muslim League (N) leader he is doing the cleaning job in the jail.
He wakes up in the morning and reads religious book. He also gives religious education to the inmates for limited time.
In the evening he exchanges jokes with the other inmates during a relaxing session.
