Balochistan Information Minister Zahur Baledi has said, that the impression that the development process in Balochistan has stopped is wrong.
The projects are being completed rapidly.
Provincial Information Minister Zahur Baledi, Additional Chief Secretary Balochistan Sajjad Ahmed Bhutta, and Additional Treasury Secretary Farukh Ateeq held a joint press conference in Quetta.
Zahur Baledi said, the problems in PSD have been solved and the present government issued development funds for 1515 projects.
He said, Rs 60 crore for Mangi dam, Rs 50 crore for a dam near Mada, Rs 25 crore for Kachi Kanal have been issued.
He said, six units have been set up for economic reforms where all matters related to tax, pension, investment and finance will be taken care of.
Balochistan Additional Chief Secretary Sajjad Ahmed Bhutta said, the schemes for which funds have been released are health, roads and water.
He said, work on Quetta safe city project is rapidly continuing and work on Gawadar safe city has also started.
A department will be established on highways on the pattern of 1122 for emergencies.
Sajjad Ahmed Bhutta said, the socio-economic stage has started on CPEC in which the projects will be completed in one year.
The initial planning of Ziarat Tourist Project is being started.
