The relatives of the killed in the Sahiwal incident have said the Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) is exerting pressure on the family to drop the case.
At a press conference, they said, the Counter-Terrorism Department (CTD) is trying to protect its image.
The family, and their lawyer, Shahbaz Bukhari, said CTD is threatening them with dire consequences if the case is not dropped as they are trying to save their colleagues.
The lawyer said, a top CTD official threatened to kill him in a phone call, presenting a seven-minute recorded call at the press conference.
The Sahiwal killing incident has triggered a nationwide outrage.
The masses are demanding justice and action against the CDT cops.
They are calling for the government to come clean on the shady operation.
The lawyer Shahbaz Bukhari said that they hoped Prime Minister Imran Khan and other relevant ministers will come to meet the family soon to ensure the responsible people do not go scot free.
The family has asked the government to provide them security.
