Unhappy for repeated disruptions and adjournments, Congress leader said he was raising some of the questions publicly, which he would have brought up at the Lok Sabha (House of the People) if he had the chance.

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor on Thursday posted questions on Twitter saying he is unhappy as Lok Sabha (House of People) could not do anything because of repeated disruptions and adjournments during the session which began on Dec.11.

He said he was raising some of the questions publicly which he would have brought up at the Lok Sabha if he had the chance.

Seeking replies from ministries concerned, he emphasized on the need for expediting the project to connect the pilgrim centre with the railway network.

He asked questions about the Rafale fighter jet deal, delay of Sabari Rail project, Ram Janmabhoomi issue, the construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya, and that if studies had been undertaken on the environmental impact of the projects.

Tharoor also asked the government to bring a legislation against torture, saying it is violation of the Indian Constitution, pointing out that nearly a thousand people died in custody last year and continue to die.

Tharoor’s Tweets have not been replied yet.

Congress leader Shashi Tharoor’s wife Sunanda Pushkar committed suicide and was found dead at a five-star hotel in Delhi in 2014. He was charged with abetting the suicide of his wife but then exonerated.

Sunanda Pushkar committed suicide as she suspected her husband had  affairs with other women, and seeing a Pakistani journalist, Mehar Tarar. Both the women had an exchange of war of words on Twitter just before Sunanda committed suicide.
