Chinese couple taken to police station for heated argument

The couple reconciled at the police station.

A Chinese couple visiting Pakistan broke out in a heated argument on Shahrah-e-Faisal and was taken to the police station to resolve the matter on Thursday night.

The Chinese man, identified as Wang, asked the driver to stop the car as he refused to travel with the Chinese woman after the argument with her.

He walked out of the vehicle on Drigh Road while the woman followed him in an attempt to reconcile.

Wang’s persistent refusal to go with the woman gathered attention from the police.

Station House Officer (SHO), of the Shahrah-e-Faisal police station, Safdar Mashwani, arrived at the site with a contingent of police officers.

The police tried to get the couple back inside the car but their efforts remained futile on which they were taken to the police station.  

At the police station the couple was given water and asked to talk out the matter.

The security of the foreigners is a serious issue in Pakistan.
