China flays violent behaviour of protestors in Hong Kong

China’s foreign ministry said on Thursday the violent behaviour of protesters in Hong Kong is condemnable.

The foreign ministry spokesperson Geng Shuang supported the Hong Kong government at a news briefing in Beijing.

Hundreds of protestors and police got into fight in Hong Kong.

The demonstrators gathered to protest against the planned extradition law with mainland China.

Police fired rubber bullets at the demonstrators.
