Bilawal Bhutto opposes military courts

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said, he will oppose the military courts on all forums.

Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has demanded the Chief Justice to take action against those who are criticizing the report of Joint Interrogating Team (JJI) on the fake accounts case.

Talking to the media in Islamabad, he said, the ministers criticising the report should face contempt of court. He said, the Prime Minister also had the powers of interior ministry and therefore the Supreme Court should take action against the prime minister.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said, the politics of revenge was nothing new for the Pakistan People’s Party, adding, this will benefit the party and provide it with the opportunity for old and conventional politics in the new Pakistan.

Opposing expansion of the military courts, he said, the Parliament humiliated itself by passing a legislation on the military courts.

He further said, he will oppose the military courts on all forums.

People’s Party senior leader, Khurshid Shah, said, cases against Asif Ali Zardari, and Faryal Talpur, are false and baseless, indicating a meeting between Aisf Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif.
