At least 18 people, including five airmen, were killed and 13 civilians were injured when a Pakistan Army Aviation aircraft crashed in Mora Kalu, on the outskirts of Rawalpindi on Tuesday.
The aircraft was on a routine training flight.
The army personnel killed are Lt Col Saqib (pilot), Lt Col Waseem (pilot), Havaldar Ibne Ameen, Naib Subedar Afzal, and Havaldar Rehmat.
The injured were shifted to a nearby hospital.
The crash happened around 2am, reports said.
The president and the prime minister condoled with the bereaved families.
